In case you missed her on David Letterman, Imogen Heap used her Monome, piano, notebook and looper to perform First Train Home from her new album Elllipse. I’m a big fan of Imogen and often wonder what we could come up with if I could get her, Howard Jones and I in a room together for an afternoon. These are the dreams of a musical geek. I tried to order a Monome 64 back in January of 2008 but it sold out in like 2 minutes. She’s playing the Monome 256, so maybe I can order one of those when they release another batch of them sometime in September 2009 (which happens to begin tomorrow). A geek can dream can’t he?
